Last sunday's sermon is SO SO AWESOME.... i so wished that all my dearest frens would be present to listen...
Some of the quotes from Pastor Mark Conner that so impacted me...and is soo true...
"Passion is not just loud sound or based on personality. It is a fire on the inside that affects our outside."
"Passion is either GROWING or DYING. It is never static!"
"Enthusiasm and Persistence can make an average person superior;
Indifference and Lethargy can make a superior person average."
God wants to fuel our passion and keep that fire burning." I like it when God brings me out of problems BUT often God brings us through problems." "We are like rubber bands, designed not only to stretch, but oso to relax."
"Christian life is NOT a marathon! It is more like many 100m sprints with plenty of breaks in between."
"To be fully engaged, you need to have times to be fully disengaged."
"Time management is good BUT energy management is even more important."
"Lukewarmness= Serving God without offending the devil."
Gotta check our hearts if we do fall into tis category... When the devil cant mk u stop serving, he will bring you to the other extreme .. ie make u serve too much till u treat thgs tt used to b precious as routine/common. Let's not reach a point of religiosity (goin thru e motion without any feelings) or apathy..."Activating your spiritual gifts, ignite your passion."
"NOT everyone is prominent, BUT all of us are significant."
This is so true... Not all of us will be in the limelight, sometimes not even once. Not all of us are doing something so HUGE that people will all notice us, recognise our work, our time and our efforts. Sometimes, we are not praised for all the serving but rather scolded for our mistakes... We often feel prominent. THe truth is not all of us is prominent... However, it doesnt make the thgs we do not of significant... EVERY single one of us play a part to mk sure all is running well and people get impacted."Associate with people with passion."
"What you tolerate, it will NEVER change."
Think about what is at the beginning. The day when u first know about Jesus. What was ur response? Didnt you tear when u were so touched by the love of God? All the gratefulness you have when you know hw much God has done for you... All the joy in serving God... All the wonderful teaching that made you mature.... Are these nothing to you now? When you were hurt/discouraged, dint the Holy Spirit speak to you those loving words of encouragement? Where did your first love go?"No matter what happens, I will always thank God for the day the Lord saved me."

Information
Unhappiness in relationships, according to Dr. Gary Chapman, is often due to the fact that we speak different love languages. Sometimes we don't understand our partner's requirements, or even our own. We all have a "love tank" that needs to be filled in order for us to express love to others, but there are different means by which our tank can be filled, and there are different ways that we can express love to others.
